Road Safety at Tutshill School

Last Friday, I visited local residents and teachers from Tutshill School, who are campaigning for better road safety, especially for children walking to school.

They’ve done an excellent job raising awareness and recently set up a temporary zebra crossing to highlight the urgent need for safer roads.

I fully support their campaign to get the County Council to:

  • Install a permanent zebra crossing outside Tutshill Primary School

  • Introduce a reduced speed limit outside the school

  • Implement speed cameras to improve safety
